BIOGRAPHY
My paper is the best biography I've found on the net so far. No kidding. Not much has been written about this guy on the internet. There are links to bibliograpical data included in this work, and the writing is easy to comprehend.
MAJORITY OPINIONS
Of the current U.S. Supreme Court justices, Scalia is without doubt the most intelligent and thorough writer of the lot. Here are some majority opinions which Scalia has written:
Vernonica School District v. Acton
Lucas v. South Carolina
R.A.V. v. St. Paul (this is a really good one)
Employment Division v. Smith
Stanford v. Kentucky
New Energy Company of Indiana v. Limbach
Arizona v. Hicks
DISSENTING OPINIONS
You shouldn't be surprised at the multitude of dissenting opinions, for when one disagrees with the majority, one is much more likely to write the whys and wherefores for oneself, rather than have someone else do it for you. They are arranged from most recent, to oldest:
US v. Virginia
Romer v. Evans
Planned Parenthood v. Casey
US v. Fordice
Lee v. Weisman
Cippolone v. Liggett Group
Riverside County v. McLaughlin
Maryland v. Craig
Rutan v. Republican Party of Illinois
Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce
Nat'l Treas. Employees Union v. Von Raab
Mistretta v. US
Thompson v. Oklahoma
Morrison v. Olson
Pennel v. San Jose
Rankin v. McPherson
Edwards v. Aguillard
Booth v. Maryland
Johnson v. Transportation Agency
