Summary: Doug didn't want Pacey to live with him after there father kicked him out, so Pacey moved to Boston to live with his grandparents, forcing him and Joey to have un-resolved issues.

Dawson's House
7 PM
Joey was looking around at everyone, she couldn't believe how much had
changed in the last year or so. Everything started when Pacey had told them
that he was moving and why, she had resented Doug, and his parents since
then, they weren't Pacey's parents anymore, they were Dougs, in her eyes.
Da: Joey, you okay?
Joey looked over at Dawson worried expression, he had always been her
bestfriend. Joey almost laughed at how they used to be known as "Dawson and
Joey soulmates for life", that could never happen, almost did, but he and her
had moved on.
Jo: Yeah, Dawson, I'm fine
Da: You sure??
Jo: Yeah, I was just thinking about how in less than 24 hours, I'll be at
Boston University, then next week Jen,Jack and Pete will be at NYU, and
Andie and you will be at Frostburg.
Everyone had been thinking the same thing, but didn't want to bring it up for
Joey's sake. Joey had been the one who wanted to go with the full
scholarship, and she was the one who had to leave everyone behind.
Ja: Lets not think about that right now, okay?
Joey looked at Jack, her and him had gotten closer in the last year, she had
been the one to introduce him to his present boyfriend Pete.
Da: Lets watch a movie
B&B
7 AM
Joey was going through the un-occupied rooms, thinking about her life,
she came into her mother's old room, she sit on the bed, and held a pillow
her mom had sewn together.
Be:(knocking on the door) Jo, Bodie finished loading up the car
Jo:(standing up) I can't believe I'm leaving Capeside
Bessie came up to Joey, and put an arm around her
Be: Believe it kiddo
Bessie and Joey walked out of the room, and down to the kitchen where Bodie
was standing, carrying a sleepy Alex
Jo: Well, I guess this is it
All of a sudden, they heard some loud music blasting from outside
Jo:(confused) what is that?
Bo:(innocently) why dont you go, and look
Joey went outside, and discovered Dawson, Jack, Jen, Andie, and Pete all
singing and doing a dance routine from a music video she had once seen.

Joey couldn't help but laugh, she almost had forgot why they were there, but
soon it was time for her to leave, so she had to say her goodbyes, she walked
up to Jack and Pete.
Jo:(smiling) I'm going to miss you two, who else is going to criticize my
paintings when I mess up, and praise me when I draw you two perfectly.
Ja:(laughing) You can always Fed X them to us
Pe:(smiling) You could put your stuff on the internet
Joey smiled at Pete, he always found the the silver line in everything, Joey
gave them both brief hugs. Joey stood in front of Jen, they had grown to
become bestfriends, Joey was there for Jen when Henry and her had broken up,
and Jen was there for Joey when she had that Pregnancy scare at the beginning
of Senior year.
Je:(eyes watering) Joey, I'm going to miss you so much
Joey was trying not to cry
Jo:(Joking) I never would've thought that I'd become best friends with a
pretty blonde bimbo
Je:(slight smile) I never would've thought that I'd become best friends with
a bitch
Joey and Jen grabbed eachother, and had a long hug
Je:(whispering) You call and write me
Jo:(whispering) I promise
Joey and Jen finally let eachother go, and Joey stood in front of Dawson and
Andie
Jo:(smiling) who would've thought that the day would come when I had to say
goodbye
Da: I sure didn't, I'm really going to miss you Jo
Dawson gave Joey a brotherly hug
Da: You take care of yourself, I worry about you sometimes
Jo:(rolling her eyes) Andie, please make sure your boyfriend has some fun in
Maryland, I don't need him over-analyzing me through emails.
Andie gave Joey a brief hug, and then wrapped her arms around Dawson
A:(smiling) You know I'll take care of him
Joey gave Andie a knowing look, she had found out that Dawson and Andie were
dating by coming in and seeing them in a passionant embrace
Jo: I'm sure you will
Dawson blushed, and Andie smiled, Bessie came outside, and opend the truck
Be: Jo, I'm sorry but we got to get going
Jo: I don't want to say goodbye, so, I'll see you guys later
Joey got in the truck, not looking back, as the truck went down the road
Boston Dorm
An hour later
Joey had fell asleep as soon as she had seen the "You're leaving
Capeside" sign, she felt someone shaking her.
Be: Jo, we're here
Joey got out of the truck, and stretched, Bessie and her took her boxes into
Joey's dorm room, and said there goodbyes. Joey looked around the place, she
decided to put her stuff away, she took one of the rooms in the suite, that
didn't already have stuff in them. She had just started putting stuff away,
when she noticed a picture, it was a picture of Pacey and her when they were
little kids. Joey wished that she could go back to those days when life was
simple, she wish she could see Pacey again, just to tell him that she loved
him, and missed him.
Female's voice: Excuse me??
Joey jumped, and turned around, to be confronted by two females, one was
africian americian, and the other looked like she could pass for that new
singer Christina Aguileria.
Jo: I'm sorry, you scared me, you must be my roomates?
The Africian americian shook Joey's hand
D:Yep, my name is Danielle
S:(speaking in french) Jem 'a pelle Shaye
Jo: Do you speak English?
S:(smile) Sorry, my name's Shaye, you must be Josephine
Jo:(half smile) Yeah, but you can call me Joey
D:Okay, sorry to barge in on you like this, we just couldn't wait to find out
who our new roommate was
Jo: That's okay
S:(checking her watch) The guys should be here in 20 minutes
Jo: You have dates?
Da:Oh, no, my twin brother Mike, and his roomates are coming by, and we're
going out, would you like to join us?
The two girls looked at Joey hopefully, Joey had wanted to start over when
she got here, so now was a good time to do it.
Jo:(genuine smile) I'd love to
Joey followed Danielle and Shaye out of her room, and into the kitchen/living
room area, they all took a seat on the couch.
S: So, Joey where are you from?
Jo: Capeside
D: Cool, I'm from Maryland, and Shaye is from Cali
S: So, do you have a boyfriend?
Joey wished that she could, say yes, and talk about Pacey, but that would
never happen
Jo:(quietly looking down) I wish, but No
Shaye and Danielle looked at eachother, and Danielle spoke
D:(Joking) Well, we don't have boyfriends either, we came here to break some
hearts, and party.
S: Don't forget the occasional studying
D:(pretend angry) Darn, I knew getting away from my parents was too good to
be true, there had to be a catch
Joey laughed, it felt good to talk to some girls for a change, she had Jen,
but it was time to expand her life. Joey, Shaye, and Danielle had started
talking, and laughing, untill they was a knock on the door, Joey looked down
and noticed she had on a pair of sweats.
Jo: Let me go change
Joey went into her room and changed into a pair of blue jean bell bottom
flares, and a halter top that Jen had bought her, and she put on a necklace
that Pacey had given her a long time ago. Joey walked out the door, and into
the living room. Danielle and Shaye were talking to three boys, the guys had
there back to her, so they didn't see her behind them, and Joey was looking
through her purse making sure she had everything, Danielle noticed her.
D: This is my other roomate....
The boys turned around
Males voice: Joey??
Joey looked up, and locked eyes with the one guy she hadn't planned on ever
seeing again.
Jo:(whisperd) Pacey???
