Summary: After leaving Capeside behind, Joey was ready to embark on a new life in Boston, she had made friends, and was going to school, but now someone from the past is back in her life, read to see what happens, and this takes place where we left off.
Author's note: The songs in my stories are not mine, so email me if you want to know what they are. Oh, and for a side note, Pete and his family moved in to Pacey's old house when Pacey moved, so they've never met.
Joey/Shaye/Danielle's Dorm room
Jo:(suprised) Pacey
Pacey and Joey just looked at eachother, everyone looked back and forth from
one to the other
S:(clearing her throat) You obviously must know eachother
Joey was shaken out of her trance, she put on a fake smile
Jo:Yeah, Pace and I grew up together
Pacey just kept staring at Joey, he couldn't believe she was there, standing
right in front of him
P:(thinking) Ohmygod, what's she doing her? She's so beautiful, Get a grip
Pacey, it's just Joey
Pacey closed the space between Joey and him, and gave her a hug
P:(whisper) I missed you so much
Joey pulled out of Pacey's embrace, and nodded her head at him, she decided
to change subjects.
Jo:(to everyone) So, have you decided where we are going?
Danielle didn't know what was going, but she planned to talk to Joey about it
later.
D: How about we go to the movies?
Pacey and Joey begin to talk at the same time
J&P: No more movies
Joey and Pacey laughed, and knew that the tension had been broken
7:30pm
After going to a cafe across the way, everyone had decided to meet back up
that night and go to a club, Joey got dressed in an outfit that Pacey had
always loved, and decided to check her email while she waited for Pacey to
come over, so they could catch up before they had to leave. She finished
checking her mail, and decided to see if anyone special was on her buddy
list, she saw that both Jen and Pete were on, so she sent them a message to
join a private chat room.
Artchic: has signed on
NYGirl:has signed on
Ppan: has signed on
Nygirl: Joey, how's Boston? We miss you already? Meet any hot guys? How are
you?
Artchic: Well, hello to you, 2
Ppan: Excuse Jen, her and Andie decided to check out that new Coffee shop
Nygirl: =P
Ppan: Very mature, anyways, Joey how's Boston???
Artchic: It's good, I'm going out in an hour with my roomies, and you wont
believe who's coming with us?
Nygirl: Mel Gibson??
Artchic: No, Guess again
Ppan: Time cruise....*deep sigh*
Artchic: *LOL* I wish, nope, none other than...... Pacey
Nygirl: Oh my god, Are you serious???
Artchic: Yep, fraid so
Ppan: Pacey, THE PACEY???????
Artchic: I don't know any other Pacey's
Ppan: Ouch, sorry..so what are you going to do?
Artchic: Nothing, I mean he has a girlfriend
Nygirl: Is she nice??
Artchic: You're going to have to tell me that one
Nygirl: Huh??
Artchic: She'll be a freshman in NYU
Ppan: What's her name? I'll make sure to do a background check on her
Artchic: *LOL* No need for the background check, just be on the look out for
a girl named Samantha Sanders
Nygirl: Don't worry we will
Artchic: Thanx....Hey, someone's at the door.....
Artchic: I have to go, it's Pacey, Tell everyone I said Hi, and I'm wishing
they were here..not really =)
Nygirl: You be careful, and tell Pacey I said, and I want a full report when
you come back
Artchic: Yes, Mama dearest
Nygirl: No talking to strangers...that's my job
Artchic: *LOL* okay, buh bye
Ppan: Bye
Nygirl: later Jo
Artchic: has signed off
Joey shut down her computer, and walked over to where Pacey was sitting. Joey
took in Pacey's features while he was sitting there, he was sexy as she
rememberd him, he was a little bit taller, muscular, he had on a pair of
loose Khakies, and a plaid shirt with a wife beater under it.
Pacey couldn't believe it was Joey standing in front of him, checking him
out, he tried to pretend he didn't care, on the inside he was jumping for
Joy. Joey had on a black, spaghettie strapped dress, that clung to her every
curve, and heels that accented her long legs, if he wasn't careful he'd be in
trouble.
P:(nervously) So, who were you talking to?
Joey sat down on the couch next to Pacey, but not too close
Jo:(smiling) Just Jen and Pete
P:(mock)What did I just hear? When did you become so close to Jen?
Jo:(rolled her eyes) Alot of things have changed since you left Pacey, Jen
and I happen to be very good friends now
P:Oh
Pacey knew he shouldn't pry, but curiosity got the best of him
P: Who's Pete??
Jo: He's Jack's boyfriend, they've been dating since a month after you left
Joey could've sworn she saw a look of relief on Pacey's face, but just
shrugged it off.
P:(cracking a smile) So, how's Lindley? She still rocking the cradle?
Pacey saw a look of anger pass Joey's face, he thought maybe he crossed a line
Jo: No, Henry and her split up
P: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that
Jo:(anger growing) I'm not, he was a jerk, and I never did like him
P: (confused) Henry?? Are we talking about the same naive, innocent Henry??
Joey gave a brief nod
Jo: Appearences can be deceiving, Pace
Pa:(suprised) wow, I always thought Jen and Henry were meant to be, like you
and....Dawson
Pacey looked down to the ground, but then he heard Joey's laughter, he was
confused but he smiled, she was so beautiful when she laughed. She saw him
staring at her, and she quickly changed the subject.
Jo:(seriously) Pace, when was the last time you talked to anybody from
Capeside?
Pacey thought about it, he had to admit he hadn't talked to anyone in about a
year
P:(frowning) Too long ago, do you mind filling me in?
Joey checked her watch, she saw that they had 15 minutes untill it was time
to go
Jo: What do you want to know?
P: Just the basics, how's Mcphee?
Jo: She's doing well, her and Dawson are moving in together when they get to
Maryland
P:(shocked) Dawson and Andie?? Are they Dating???
Jo:(half smile) Yeah, we weren't all that shocked when it happend, we saw it
from a mile away
Pacey looked at Joey, he noticed Joey looking at her watch
P:(softly) I missed all of you guys, mostly you
Joey looked up into Pacey's intense gaze, and she was about to tell him how
much she loved him, and how much she missed him, untill there was a knock on
the door, Pacey stood up.
P: That must be the guys, I'll get it
Jo:(muttering) Saved by the bell
Joey was sitting at a table, she checked her watch it was 10 PM, her feet
were tired from dancing, and she was ready to go. She looked around to see
where everyone was, Shaye was dancing with some random guy, Danielle had been
dancing with this one guy the whole night, they had just met, but looked like
they went way back. She noticed Mike and Shawn giving stupid pickup lines to
two blonde bimbos, who splashed there drinks in the guy's faces.
Man's voice: Hey Potter, you wanna dance?
Joey looked up, and saw Pacey in front of her, although her feet hurt, she
wasn't going to turn down a chance to get close to him
Jo:(smiling) Witter, I thought you'd never asked
Pacey took her hand and led her out to the dance floor, he pulled her close
to him, and just listened to the song.
(Singing)

had to get out of there, Joey must've read his mind.

Pacey waited in his car, while Joey went to tell everyone they were leaving
P: Why Joey? Why did you have to come here? I thought I was over you, I'll
never stop loving you
Pacey cried softly
