The following appears online at http://www.mpp.org/alert.html
======================================================================
1. Are you an attorney who handles medical marijuana litigation?
If so, please e-mail Ayelet Waldman at The Lindesmith Center in
San Francisco (ayeletw@earthlink.com) to give her your suggestions
for what information TLC's upcoming resource on medical marijuana
should contain in order to help lawyers with their litigation on
this issue.
For background, please see <http://www.mpp.org/alert.html#law>.

2. Do you know anyone who has AIDS or is HIV positive?
If so, please tell them they might be able to participate in a
marijuana research study in San Francisco by contacting Roz Leiser,
the study coordinator, at RLeiser@php.ucsf.edu or 415-502-5705.
For background, please see <http://www.mpp.org/alert.html#sf>.

3. Can you donate a Macintosh computer to MPP?
If so, please e-mail MPP at mpp@mpp.org.

5. Do you live in Maryland?
Please take two minutes to visit <http://www.mpp.org/Maryland>.
With the click of a button, you can send pre-written letters to
your Maryland state legislators!
Background: Maryland Delegate Donald Murphy (R-Catonsville) is
preparing to introduce a medical marijuana bill in the Maryland
state legislature. If this bill is enacted, patients who use
medical marijuana with their doctors' approval will no longer be
subject to arrest and imprisonment under state law. It would also
protect physicians from being penalized for recommending the
medical use of marijuana.

6. Do you have family or friends who live in Maryland?
If so, please e-mail the following message text to your friends,
family, and colleagues who live in Maryland.
