How I see Lady Sekhmet.

Lady Sekhmet is the the daughter of Lord Ra and known to be one of the oldest Goddesses.Lady Sekhmet has a great man in her life who she loves dearly. His name is Lord Ptah (God of arts and material goods). Lord Ptah is a very faithful husband to his lady. She has other affairs though but Lord Ptah is the main man in her life. They brought forth a beautiful child named Nefer-Tem. Nefer-Tem is the God of medicine. He brought the knowledge of medicine to mankind.

Lady Sekhmet's younger sister is Lady Bastet. Both have different natures about them. Lady Bastet does festivals, love and dance. Whereas Lady Sekhmet more indulges in the healing arts and arts itself. Lady Sekhmet likes her drink as well. Many of us are brother and sisters and sons and daughters to Lady Sekhmet. I know I have a part in Lady Sekhmet's life because she spends time with me to teach me the healing ways.

The myths about her ravage of mankind are written but I do not see her in that manner. Lady Sekhmet is a kind gentle soul that only needs to awaken you sometimes by violence if needed. In her heart though she is one of the most loving Goddesses. Lady Sekhmet to me is the sexual energies that couples share and healing ways of all cultures. Lady Sekhmet has many names around the world because she travels around to help the healers benefit mankind through their own hands.

Lady Sekhmet loves the energies that come from sexual interludes because she loves being stroked, and stroking her lover especially when ones partner is channeling her. She loves the smell of cinnamon and the incense of Dragons Blood. Volcanic rocks works the best to reach her in a earthly manner. I have found volcanic rocks work best because of the intense fire that she can produce that is like the volcano's.

Lady Sekhmet is a bright flame that glows for miles. The fire she has in her is so intense and powerful, able to do damage but used to heal instead. Lady Sekhmet's love is similar to that of Lord Seth...both stripping away shells to make the 5 bodies grow to a better form. I feel both use chaos to heal instead of chaos as a evil term. I know I will get different opinions about this theory but it is what I believe. The myths about her and all the others Netjers are just stories to me. The only truth I see is when they tell me what happened. Lord Seth is a loner God but assists when needed to achieve the goals of Lady Sekhmet and even Lady Aset . Lady Sekhmet's love is a bright blood red rose that is beauty on the outside but thorns inside to let you know the sacrifice it takes to achieve true love.

My final comment on Lady Sekhmet is to trust your love for her and let her return the rewards to you. Lady Sekhmet you are the beauty that is needed in my life and the pushiness I need as well to get me going. May you live long and full of peace forever my lady!
