I am honored to write about the Egyptian God Seth. Lord Seth is the need balance of the universe. You need flame to balance water.

For many months in my strudying about Lord Seth,I had been afraid of Lord Seth. As a beginner, you're too trusting to believe the thoughts written in books.

As Lord Seth told me one time, "you are your own destiny and seeing it before I can sense it saves you my chaos". That statement is so true now since I have seen many way of chaos afflicted upon me. Lord Seth is so wise and I always try to understand his thoughts that are sent to me. I can see why he was so well known before the foolish Myths of murdering his brother Lord Asar.

Lets talk about that murder for a minute. Yes, so according to Myth it did happen. Let the murder of Lord Asar in the Myths be in the past. Life go on for the better part because even though some of us were born in those times spirit wise there is no proof of the murder happening. What happened between Lord Seth and Lord Asar is in the past and long forgiven.

The divine power of Lord Seth can not be forsaken. Lady Sekhmet works with Lord Seth as well in the same manner of destorying unwanted layers of the individual. What I need to make clear is that "Chaos" is not bad; it is the only way us mortal beings learn sometimes. Chaos strips the unwanted shells that are not needed. The losing of these shells makes the human being grow more if they chose to accept it in that way. Come to think about it though all the Netjeru do chaos to test our love and devotedness to them. So I think it is wrong Lord Seth gets the raw deal. I know alot wont like that comment I just said because of what they were taught from books. He is doing his job just like the others.I hope who really reads this understands my thoughts about how Lord Seth is not evil at all. Books do him injustice that is why I do not go for them.

I only read two books that see him as I do. The others refer him as a evil God cruel and cold hearted. That is not true because I know it is wrong.If they saw his loving side, they would see the true Lord Seth.

You wonder why would Lord Seth would be so sad when he is a God. What many don't know is that Lord Seth and the Netjeru cry, laugh, sigh, etc.... You just have to look past the Deity side that many only come to view. I see the Netjeru as they show themselves to me. Lord Seth is a handsome God with more of a anteater face then what others have said he looks like. I have never seen his human face but I will in time as I grow with him.

Reading some information found from books about Lord Seth's orgin. I come up with the following information of his beginning of existance. Lady Nut and Lord Geb had five children who were Asar/Osiris, Horus the Elder, Seth/Set, Aset/Isis, Nebet Het/Nephthys. Lord Seth is the middle brother, in a sense fighting to keep what he can get because all the other brother and sisters. The best way to put it would be as in the "brady Bunch". Lord Seth is very wise from being in this position though.

He was sent into the desert because he is the one that tames the deserts fury. In the desert he controls the storms. So the next time it is storming, listen to the storm and you can hear Lord Seth strip away the unwanted layers from the earth. If you ask Lord Seth to help you with a problem, he will come. Lord Seth is great to ask to strip the negativity from you and your place of living.

Another function Lord Seth does is protect Lord Ra from is enemy the Cobra as he dies in the sunset riding on a boat carried by Lady Nut Lord Ra travels into the sunset and he is reborn in the morning sun. Lord Seth will always be Lord Ra's bodyguard. If he protects Lord Ra then why is he seen so evil over a stupid family dispute? You got a bad shake Lord Seth.

Lord Seth is a great leader. In his day many of the population respected his great leadership skills. Lord Seth enjoys hunting with his dogs. Hunting is one of the fun things that relaxes him. The other thing that he likes is being with his lovely wife Nebet Het. He loves her so much that he will do anything to please her. Lord Seth & Lady Nebet Het's love is the strongest of all the Netjeru couples. I do not blame him for loving her so strongly. He is a very lucky God in my opinion.

My final note is do not be afraid of chaos, trust in Lord Seth. He is not the tyrant God that is depicted in books and stories. He is a very loving God and my wish is that others see him that way for once.

I hope you got some good information from my page and saw thw real truth about Lord Seth. This is what I want to accomplish and I hope I succeeded. Lord Seth, I love you and always will try to show the real you.
