Life's ...Long Road

ONE STEP FORWARD
Walk with me...just far enough

One Step Forward

With the passing of time
We see how our lives are changing.....rearranging
And its good to find.....some quiet time
to feel the things that Ive been dreaming
I used to take...
1 step forward.....fall 3 steps behind...
Looking at a reason...
These days I'd rather not stand in my shadow...
and waste all of my time.....tryin to be pleasin.
So if you see me...standin on the side of the road...
You need not worry about my direction...
As its good to find some quiet time...
To think about things...
in reflection.

NEVER be without choices during your journey

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Forever Friends

Friend of Mine

Youve always been a friend of mine,
As far as my Eyes can see
As far as the farthest tree
As far as my marble can roll
As far as the MoonLight goes

Thats how far that Ill go to be by your side
The one that came to be ,
"Friend of Mine"

Touch a heart...just enough

The Arrow and the Song

I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?

Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
(1807-1882)
