The Threskian Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram

1. Standing erect, feet together, facing the East, in right hand the instrument held
upright in the median line, left arm at side, and voice the following :

Μέλος, Οινος, Γυνή
Δήμητρα, Παμμήτειρα
Αδης, Απαγωγός
Κόρη, που δύει καί ανατέλλει
Ευοε Ιακχε, αστήρ πυρός

F.A.O.S.
Melos, Inos, Gyne
(Meh-loh-s , Ee-noh-s, Gee-nee)
Demeter, Questing Mother
Hades, Abducter
Kore, Descended and Risen
Euoe Iakche, blazing star
(Eh-voh-eh Ee-ak-hay)

2. Now give the Signs of the Star.

3. Still facing the East, step forward and trace a very large hexagram of fire and
vibrate : Θέλημα (Thelema - Theh-lee-mah)

4. Turn and step to the South and there trace a very large hexagram of earth and
vibrate : Θέλημα (Thelema)

5. Turn and step to the West and there trace a very large hexagram of Air and vibrate:
Θέλημα (Thelema)

6. Turn and step to the North and there trace a very large hexagram of Water and
vibrate : Θέλημα (Thelema)

7. Close the ritual in the same manner as it was begun, repeat steps 1 and 2.
