The Ten Commandments
in the sky?
Heyo,
i know you may not answer this soon, but what are you talking about when you keep mentioning the ten commandments being seen in the sky? Is that Biblical? i've never heard of it before. . .
What are the seven heads really (and be short) also, what then are the 7 kings? . . . . 5 have fallen, one is, and one is yet to come. . .
The word adonai was substituted by the Hebrews because of superstition over the tetragramaton (YHWH) . . . . . according to this text that i will quote from verbatim, I think it's significant. . . .
Remember the 3rd comm tells us not to take His name in vain, correct? If He wrote with His finger Ex. 31: 18 the name as written: YHWH then shouldn't that be looked at closer? The same way people substituted the 7th day Sabbath for Sunday; hence. . . YHWH for Adonai (a Canaanite god! ) . . . Sabbath for Sunday (sun worship day! )
Satan is out to destroy all of the ten comm and the 3rd is one! ! ! ! !
Here's the text:
YHWH-correctly vocalized ‘yahwe'. New inscriptional evidence from the second and first millenia B. C. point toward this fact. The old view of Le Clerc, modernly propounded by Paul Haupt and developed by W. F. Albright, has commended itself in the light of the phonetic development and grammatical evidence of increased knowledge of Northwest Semetic and kindred tongues.
This thesis holds Yahwe to be originally a finite causative verb from the Northwest Semitic root "hwy" "to be, to come into being", so that the divine name would mean "he who causes to be, or exist, " i. e., "he creates."
Amorite personal names after 2, 000 B. C. lend support to the Haupt-Albright view, demonstrating that the employment of the causitive stem yahwe "he creates" was in vogue in the linguistic background of early Hebrew.
Another recent etymology is that of Sigmund Mowinckel and James Montgomery. This suggests that Yahu (an abreviated form of Yahwe current in personal names) is a compound formation ya (O! ) and hu or huwa (he), "O HE!"
The name Yahwe has been found to be unique to Israel and has not been verified as the name of ANY DIETY OUTSIDE ISRAEL. (! ! ! ! ! ! ! )

Wycliffe Bible Encyclopedia, 1975, volume 2, page 690, tells us:
‘The Name par excellence for the Creator of Isreal is Yah-weh, found 6,823 times in the OT. Through Israel's deliverance from bondage in Egypt, adoption as a nation, and guidance to the Promised Land, the Redeemer-Creator is especially known by this name.’

The Encyclopedia Judaica, 1972, volume 7, page 680, states emphatically:
‘The true pronunciation of the Name YHWH was NEVER LOST. (emphasis mine) Several early Greek writers of the Christian Church testify that the Name was pronounced "Yahweh."
Add on;
The personal Name of the Father of Israel is written in the Hebrew Scriptures with the four consonants YHWH, and is referred to as the Tetragrammaton. At least until the destruction of the First Temple in 586 B.C.E., Yahweh's Name was pronounced regularly with its proper vowels, as is clear from the Lachish Letters, written shortly before that day. At least by the third century before the birth of Christ, the pronunciation of the Name Yahweh was avoided, and ADONAI-The Lord, was substituted in place of it. (! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! )

The Century Bible, volume1, pages 90-91, by Adency and Bennett:
Some time after the return from the Captivity, and before the beginning of the Christian era, the Yahdaim (JEWS) came to believe that the Holy Name Yahweh was too sacred to be uttered on ordinary occasions. It was said to be pronounced by the High Priest on the Day of Atonement. At other times, when any one read or quoted aloud from what is called the Old Testament, the word ‘Adonay’, ‘Lord’, was usually substituted for Yahweh, and similarly the LXX (Septuagint Version) has ‘Kurios’, the Vulgate ‘dominus’, and the E. V. ‘LORD’, where the Hebrew has Yahweh. (! ! ! ! )
Hebrew was originally written without vowels, but when the ‘vowel points’ were added, the vowels of Adonay or Elohim were written with Yahweh, as a direction that these words were to be read instead of the word whose consonants were Yahweh; thus we find the combinations YeHoWaH and YeHoWiH. At the Reformation, the former being the more usual, was sometimes used as the Name of the (Mighty One) of Israel, and owing to ignorance of its history was misread as "Jehovah", a form which has established itself in English, but does not give the pronunciation of the Holy Name it represents.
Key note; (Yeshua-translated in Hebrew=Yahweh is salvation) ! ! ! ! !
In the book of Jeremiah Ch. 23: 27 you will read that forgetting His name for Baal (lord) is not just a common experience. If you read the whole text you will see that the false prophets "who cause my people to stumble" prophesied in the name of Baal, not Yahweh! Satan through his deceiving efforts caused Israel to lose its place and blessings by causing them to forget His Name, Yahweh.
Let's summarize;
1) The Name Yahweh was written on the Ten Commandments by the "finger of God" (Yahweh) .
2) The third (and just as important as the other nine commandments) says not to take Yahweh's (substituted The lords) Name in vain. Correct?
3) The "titles" of Yahweh are not His name, just as father or brother, or lawyer, or technician are not our names, but the "titles of the job or role we perform." Correct?
4) Satan was cunning enough to substitute the Sabbath by "The Lord's Day", taking away its significance and exchanging it for Sunday, the day set aside by the pagans for worshipping the sun. Is it not impossible that he could do the very same to the Name he hates and loathes more than the day set aside for rest? ! ! !
The first Three commandments deal with the sovereignty of God, the worship given only to Him, and the Holiness of His Name spelled and, as we’ve read above pronounced, . . . .
(drumroll please) . . . . . . YAHWEH! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I use the Name of Yahweh when i pray and i truly believe He honours it; my life has incredibly changed and don’t get me wrong, i still believe in the message of the 7th Day Adventist, yet I believe this is a truth that must be put forth!
