MUT

MUT - wonderful, comforting, mothering. She is called "The Great Mother" and She most certainly is in my eyes. When one of my sons attempted suicide, and I was on the verge of a breakdown, I cried out for someone to help, and Mut was there. She held me in her arms, rocking me and comforting me. She "made it all better", to quote a favorite saying of all mothers.

Mut has appeared to me as a very elegant woman....older than most of the other Netjer, wearing a gown of royal blue. She has long brown hair and dark eyes that just glow with love. I invite Her to most of my rituals, as She definately holds a very special place in my heart.
