Patience

"The subject is patience. Patience is an attribute which leaves many puzzled as to its significance. We find very little of it except in diffused amounts. It is the tie-in with patience we wish to encourage. This does not mean waiting forever for someone or something, for a particular event or a particular growth pattern. It is instead a creative process. A process of growth which all beings will, at one time, or another experience. Some will endure until they learn it, some will intuit it, and some will learn it lesson by lesson, step by step, moment by moment.

Patience is not something that can be transferred but it can be exhibited by action in word and deed. It is a strange experience to see a patient being with impatient beings. Such an uneven level of understanding. A more level give and take on the same plane makes for not only better understanding but an avenue for growth. To still the processes of the mind gives the spirit a chance to receive the healing balm that patience brings.

Patience spreads out in all directions. It goes within, it spreads outward, and it reaches upward. It is a link, a strand, a bond.

That connection searches for that of like frequency on inner planes. Where it may seem that spiritually minded people receive more insight, it is rather that they are simply hooked up or hooked into a like minded field of communication which allows energy frequency to be transmitted.

It is in the stillness, not only of the mind but the soul, that wisdom can grow its seed. Wisdom does not sprout forward fully grown. It must grow with the seasons of man's maturity and understanding. Patience, likewise, must grow but in different ways. It grows more or perhaps we should say grows faster when it is built upon as one might put one block on top of another. Or, to use the same analogy, to place the blocks side by side and then extend them in different directions. This constructs a structure, a boundary, a framework. Within that framework or force field, wisdom may grow more easily as there is a protection there to protect it or enclose it or shelter it.

As you think on this construct, think again, using the idea of building blocks, of how one's constructed patience might be joined to and placed or attached to, side by side, another's construct. Imagine the strength of the building pattern. Imagine, too, how one might construct patience together into one large or larger unit and have a boundary, an invisible boundary, but a boundary nevertheless, which would allow for a larger garden of 'wisdom seeds' to be planted. And, again, as these 'wisdom seeds' are planted, some may grow stronger than others but they still are planted as a unit and become one, each one, part of the whole.

The stronger the outside boundaries, the more protected the seeds within. Then patience becomes the gardener, for it is patience that will encourage the seeds to become ripe at their own time and in their own way. And it is with the combined patience of those builders who form the outside 'construct' that will allow a bond of strength and communication to be formed.

Patience is like air. Sometimes it can be felt, sometimes it can be sensed. It is not a quality that is immediately detectable. We find that sometimes that quality is hidden within and it takes the light of daily experience to bring it forth so it can grow. We ask you to have patience with one another. As things change and as you change, you will find patience is a quality that is necessary for the changes within which some will be more aware of than others. Roller coaster rides are too fast to see the scenery. Too much speed in life also does not allow the scenery of life to be viewed. We ask that you make time to observe the scenery. Leave spaces, even if they are only a few quiet moments. Leave silences for your soul's sake. Even words have spaces between them and patterns of speech do not run together. Stretch your sense of space which is available to you to sense and develop what patience is. We thank you for your attention."
