As channeled by Marcia Wilson

To see with the heart is difficult. To see with the eyes is to be
fooled many times by what appears to be obvious, but is not as it
seems. We limit ourselves by thinking of vision as that which can be
seen with two or one eye. We create better vision by the use of
glasses, or contacts, or surgery, but we still limit our vision by
boundaries. Many are aware of the third eye, the area just above the
two eyebrows in the middle of the forehead. If you are not aware of it,
then you have much to discover. The use of this third eye not only
gives inner vision, but expands the vision. It is a path or guideway to
distant views as well as the inner views. It is there for all to use,
but for many, it will never be put into action.
The third eye is activated slowly in most instances. It is because the
change from using the two physical eyes to the third eye is not always
an easy thing to accomplish. When it is put into use, the clarity and
detailed images are quite incredible, so why is it not used more often?
First it takes practice. Secondly, it takes time and quietness. As a
complete package, it might be said that it takes patience. Perhaps
because the images are sometimes quite different, it is puzzling and to
those who want instant answers, it may be confusing. Continued use of
this area makes the skill of using it a more easily accessible tool. As
with any new skill, it should be carefully and wisely used. Too many
images, too many 'views' can be somewhat overpowering. It is best to
have space inbetween the viewing until one is comfortable switching to a
different type of vision.
How does one activate the third eye? First you must have quietness and
a length of time when you will not be interrupted. Then you sit or lie
in a comfortable position and close your eyes. As you relax, you let
the conscious thoughts that pop in your mind just drift away until you
have the feeling that your mind is relaxed. Think of your forehead as a
blank space - consciously keep it clear for thoughts and images to
appear. It is important not to rush the experience or try too hard to
"see". At first there may not be anything that appears and that is all
right as you still are learning to set the stage. Focus your attention
on that area. Inwardly, look up at that area and at first enjoy the
space that is there. As an image appears, look at it with no judgement,
just observe. Trying to figure out what it is will connect the
conscious mind in such a way that it becomes more difficult for other
images to appear. After you have finished viewing, be comfortable with
what you have seen in the sense that you don't want to over analyze or
try to understand. Sometimes the images and their meanings will come
several days later.
As you view, be aware that there is much to be seen and patience is the
guideline. Increase your vision so that your world is expanded. There
are wonders to behold.
