New Beginning

      It is time to advance to a new age, a new time, a new adventure. It is time to be aware of daily patterns that can be changed and lives that can be filled with new awareness. On the surface, one day leading to another day, leading to a new millennium, there is nothing that is visible, no change, no big adjustment. We know it is the 21st Century and as with any new year, we wonder ahead as we surmise what the new year might bring to us. Some will make statements of intent that will last a short time, and some will intend with actions that will change their lives. One day follows another and there are new thoughts, new inventions, new discoveries, and yet we live our lives as we have in the past. Unless there is a big change of dropping habit patterns, there is not an unusual noticing of differences unless one counts the turning or updating of a new calendar, yet things change, sometime subtly and sometimes suddenly. We are becoming closer to others through the means of communication and can reach to new countries. There we find a common pattern of humanness that makes it easy to forget the boundaries of time and space.

      With this new beginning let us think of how we create daily. Let us think of how we reach out to others, and let us think of how we can grow in a more productive, spiritually fulfilling way. Communications of the mind will be more common in this century. Communication will advance in a way not fully developed at this time. You may think that with the computer, the telephone and visual aids we have advanced in a way that does not leave much room for exciting discoveries. We are talking here about a different kind of communication, a different kind of new beginning. The boundaries of earth will dissolve and fade in that there will be a reaching outward beyond the confines that are in place at this time. To reach out and talk with the beyond, to others, to those who may not be so familiar to us, and to those who are learning about us may take a giant leap of faith. All will not have eyes to see and all will not have ears to hear for languages are not learned in a day. Still, for those who are open enough, there will be a new beginning and the beginning will involve other worlds of thought. To some this may be distressing, to some exciting, to some, a simple non acceptance. It is a new time. New times bring new things and new experiences. It does not take bravery, it takes an openness to be willing to look at and listen to new ways of communication. It will not happen all at once. To some it will be nothing new, but to many, the learning of another language will be foreign in more ways than one. Blessings to you as you enter the new millennium. Blessings to you as you begin your new adventure and blessings to you for being who you are.
