As channeled by Marcia Wilson

If a star could sprinkle some dust, what would be
the effect? You might
think you'd have to 'duck' or worry as to whether
the effects might be
negative, it certainly isn't a thought that comes
to mind. With all the
subjects in the world, it may not even be on a
list. The question that
comes to mind is or may be "so what?" because the
distance of the stars
makes the question rather laughable. Yet what if
that stardust could
actually reach earth? What if it had a beam or
frequency which could
travel millions of miles? What then? Again, who
would care?
When new ideas are presented by individuals or
groups, throughout time
they are met with skepticism and disbelief. Some
perfectly accurate
discoveries are never accepted and others are
accepted many centuries
later. When a new idea is presented to you, what
is your reaction? Is
it immediate withdrawal, is it thought provoking
or is there a neutral
response? Perhaps our reactions are based on how
we feel the new
information may affect us. Sometimes this is
understandable as
scientific discoveries are not interesting to
those who are not
scientifically oriented. However, if those
discoveries become part of
life after it has been incorporated to a more
common acceptance, then it
is taken as another new aspect of life.
Too often we do not advance in our thinking
because we are locked in to
present day thoughts. If our technology expands
quickly as it is doing
in this century, then we are somewhat more open
to new ideas and
things. This is true if these new things are
objects which can improve
our lives. When we approach intangible newness
it is much more
difficult. It cannot be readily seen or readily
accepted on a mass
basis. There are always in each generation those
individuals who can at
least explore new thought and new adventures and
these people are the
forerunners of that which will be used in the
future.
Is there stardust? Of course. Can you feel it?
No. Do you need to
know about it? Not at this time. However, the
purpose of presenting it
is to open a window of possibilities, to stir the
imagination, to
perhaps cause wonder. Mankind does not stay at
one place of thought.
Slowly, for the most part, but sometimes quickly,
there is always
advancement. You can be part of the moving flow
of thought with the
simple openness of possibilities. Negating and
doubting everything new
too quickly is to slow the development of new
thought and thought which
can be added to by you. Every once in awhile,
check and see if your
thinking is up to date. See if you have accepted
or even looked at a
new thought or possibility. Questioning leads to
further thought and
new discoveries. Let your mind grow and expand
with the stars.
