Light is often not available in the form we'd like to see it. It would be nice if we could have a spiritual flashlight that we could turn on whenever the need arose. Perhaps, like so many other attachments, we would have to make sure it had batteries and take it for granted. It is well, then, that the light is hidden or protected in a sense, so that it can shine but not run out of batteries, so to speak.
In darkness there is always light, always there, but sometimes a tiny speck, almost invisible, but still it shines. Continue on with daily living. Daily problems are always to be surmounted. Continue with faith, with courage, and with insight. Together these characteristics will fuse into a flashlight of bright, shining light.
