Packages seem like an unlikely subject for a spiritual foundation. Yet Spirit is everywhere. Unwrapping a package and looking for the contents is one of the pleasures of giving and receiving. Oftentimes there is a surprise and sometimes the contents are disappointing. Sometimes we know what is inside and sometimes we do not. It's rather like life. We don't know what it holds and as a result we sometimes get very discouraged. It is best that we do not look too far ahead and plan or construct, for life has a way of adding things to the package of Life that one has not planned. Sometimes a package becomes mishandled and the contents are broken or damaged. It is then we have to look at the contents and see how they can be repaired. Sometimes we have to start with something new. Look, also, at the quality of the contents and compare your package to days well spent or misspent. Make your package of Life one that will be pleasing and shows care and love.
