"Perceptions change as the seasons change. We perceive, in the true sense of the word, only what we can understand. When our associations and environment and reality changes, we are forced to change our perceptions whether there is understanding or not. It is in times such as those that we must reach inwardly to hold on to a "center-ness" that will help us keep balance when all around appears out of balance. If we cannot do so, we are caught up in the perception of out of balance and an out of control world. That balance that is within which is truly centered will add balance to the outer environment."
