Tonight is a night like any night and so, they follow, one right after the other. The stars are there, the sky, and sometimes the moon. Earth vehicles cross the sky and occasionally there is a falling star or meteor. Yet in each and every night there is an individual energy, an individual gift, if you will, that is there for all to see. How can this be when there is so much samness or ordinary evenings, one right after the other? Never be fooled by the sameness of things for if you learn to observe, you will see that they are different, each night with its own signature. Energies change constantly and at night when the air is still and there is less sound, the energies have a chance to flow in a smoother way. Becoming aware of these energies, learning to feel or sense them is a lesson in itself. Listening is also a lesson. Learn to listen to the night. Let the obvious sounds drift away and the more subtle sounds become evident. Remember that sound and feeling go together. From these lessons you can grow in a way of "knowingness" that cannot be taught in books. Be still, listen.
