"Understanding"

UNDERSTANDING Understanding life is really quite impossible. Understanding the self of a person is also impossible, yet we spend so much time thinking of one's self and getting help and assistance. There is nothing wrong with this, it is good to examine, to think, to analyze and look at behavior, but overall it is a circuitous route. We come back to the beginning, the core of the Self and the unknowable. We are too busy with our lives to really take time to look inside to the deepest part we can reach. Looking within should not be a short weekend journey but a lifetime of learning and knowing. Though impossible to understand, you can still connect and touch the deepest part of yourself if you try. It is fear that keeps most from looking too closely. Take or start the journey, go on the journey only as far as you are comfortable, then journey further. There is no timetable. Explore at your comfort level but know that beginning is the most difficult part.
