At this point in time, it would appear that there is a trail of wars or battles. One seems to lead to another and another and another. The heart sometimes hardens as we bolster ourselves from too much pain. Death becomes numbers. Numbers, of course, help us to keep from getting overwhelmed with the individual stories of the men and women involved. It takes courage to go to war and to follow duty. Recognize those individuals in memory when a soul leaves earth, send them a blessing. They sometimes feel forgotten.
