"Taking"

"We hear about giving, but seldom is the word 'taking' discussed. Perhaps it is because there is an air of selfish implied in the word. Yet, we must take time to listen to our inner self, we must take the steps necessary to expand our horizons, we must take away illusions. Taking time for the soul's work is not hard, but should be consistent. We take time to do the things we have to do and want to do, but do we take time to connect with our spiritual self?"
