A Recipe for Incense fitting the Festival of Lughnasad/Lammas:


5 Parts of Olibanum
3 Parts of Burgundry Sap,
aka Burgundry Pitch
1 Part of Oak Bark
1 Part of Star Anise
some Clove-Oil to moisten the mix
some Labdanum
All to be well ground and mixed,
then to be let to burn on a
piece of thoroughly hot charcoal.
