The "rapture"

The "rapture" is the most exciting thing possible to experience.

People are waiting for a guy to float down on a cloud and wave a wand, fixing everything. It WON'T happen that way. It WILL happen, but it will happen "within" you.

The "rapture" is INTO THE SPIRIT. Meaning that when the time comes, WITHIN YOU, you will be taken from the troubles of the flesh and the worries of the body, "rapiered-snatched away" into the spirit.

This does NOT mean dying, only that God will lift your conscious mind from the cares and troubles of the body, and you will see things from the perspective of the soul. To know "love", beyond the limits of the arm's reach and to sing a song that penetrates the farthest reaches of the universe.

"Pre-trib" is the body's awareness of the process to come, since the mind has already perceived the transition from living only with the cares of the body in mind. Eating, sleeping, procreating and a roof over your head aren't priorities anymore, but the brain has no words to explain/rationalize what's going to happen, but sensed that there is "some- thing in the wind", going to happen.

"Mid-trib" is when the body starts to kick up a fuss over not being given attention, starting to realize that IT'S desires are being recognised for what they really are, and the mind is discovering and defining the true desires of the spirit "within you".

"Post-trib" occurs when the soul "within you" has been so moved to the spirit's perspective of living, and you see the body for what it really is, an animal feeding it's own desires and wants. But by now you are so into living in the spirit that you realize (God's, Creator's, Source's, All's) presence with you, and his taking all the thoughts within you and presenting them before you, to see. And as they are recognized for what they really are, are "destroyed" so that you can not be restricted, delayed, held-back by the body anymore.

So you see, from a certain point of view all three "raptures" happen, or only one, depending on your point of view. But it doesn't happen to "the world" as such, all at once, it happens "within you", when you have disciplined your mind to accept the desires of the spirit over the desires of the body.

This is why John could write "the time is at hand", so that regardless of who is reading it, or when in history it was read, for the reader the time is at hand and all the battles fought and joys received happen "within" them!

It is difficult to look "within", for the things that are hidden there, but we can't be spiritually perfected until we do so. The nice thing is that when we finally do look within and are ready to face what's there and deal with it, we have been "raptured" to a position where doing so doesn't hurt. And then the true gift is discovered, (God's, Creator's, Source's, All's) there too, and gets rid of all the bad stuff for us. So we really have nothing to worry about, and nothing to do when the time comes, (God, Creator, Source, All) does it all for us.

We all face the "rapture" within, and each of us is different. But the whole truth of the "rapture" is that though we come into this world perfect, and are "led astray" by the desires of the body, and lose touch with the spirit within us, when the time comes we are "raptured" back to the spirit's point of view and all the trash that the body has picked up over the years is wiped away clean.
