A Midsummer Night's Dream   We read a version of this play to end off the Greek Mythology unit.  Here are a few of the important characters:
THESEUS: Duke of Athens.  
HIPPOLYTA: queen of the Amazons, betrothed to Theseus.
EGEUS: father to Hermia.
HERMIA: daughter to Egeus, in love with Lysander.
LYSANDER: in love with Hermia
HELENA: in love with Demetrius.
BOTTOM: a weaver.
QUINCE: a carpenter.
FLUTE: a bellows-mender.
SNUG: a joiner.
PUCK: or Robin Goodfellow.
A FAIRY.
OBERON: king of the fairies.
TITANIA: queen of the fairies.
DEMETRIUS: in love with Hermia.
SNOUT: a tinker.
