The Exploits of Andy  (The Narley Dude)

Andy's travels begin when he surfs from his native island of Hawaii to California.  Since Andy wants to adapt to California lifestyle, the first thing he does is change his name to Narl Lee Dude and buy a HOG.  After spending several days touring California's Muscle Beach, Narley decides to head west to find a place to work on his Protest Chess skills.

Narley traded his HOG for a VW because it would not hold his chessboard
[while driving] and then wouldn't you know it....playing PC while driving a VW
attracted all kinds of attention.

Narley and Clint came to an understanding about his playing PC while
driving his VW.  Narley would stop his PC play while driving and as a reward,
Clint would provide Narley with "International" recognition through his
contacts within the racing community.

Narley's choice of sponsers was determined by his previous
experience in Surf 'n and watching too many Eastwood movies.

Narley found an excellent place to study Protest Chess in the wastelands of Nevada.  Narley traded his VW to a Indian War Chief for a tent, a sword, and a disquise.  Since water is scarce in Nevada, Narley's surfing will have to wait until the first flash flood.
