Coverage of everything important from government, politics
and foreign affairs, to business and finance, medicine,
science, sports, and arts and cultural news.

SIRS Researcher
This general reference database contains thousands of
full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health,
historic, economic, business, political and global issues.
Carefully selected articles from more than 1,200 domestic and
international newspapers, magazines, journals and U.S. government
publications can be accessed instantaneously. Articles are
archived from 1988 to present. Many articles are accompanied
by graphics, including charts, maps, diagrams and illustrations.

DISCovering Nations, States & Cultures CD-ROM
Up-to-date geopolitical data with cultural information on:
200 nations of the world, 50 U.S. states ( plus Washington, D.C.
and U.S. dependencies), 12 Canadian provinces and territories
and nearly 200 cultural groups. View demographic figures, economic
data, historical facts and political information. The factual
study of nations is linked to essays on the customs, heritage
and daily life of the world's most frequently studied cultures.
Searchable by cultures, places or significant documents. There
are also 465 interactive maps that allow them to click on a nation
