Library Orientation Packets
It is now a requirement for each student at
Bishop Alemany High School
to complete a library orientation packet
with their English Classes.
The goal of this packet is to teach
our students how to effectively use the
resources available at their School Library
Freshman Orientation Packet
This is where all students begin. Here they will learn
to use the valuable tools the library has to offer and
get their first introduction to the Networked CD-ROM programs
Freshman Orientation Packet
Sophomore Orientation Packet
The second step in our four part program. Here students will learn
to use more of the printed resources the library has to offer and
get their first introduction to the Stand Alone CD-ROM programs
Sophomore Orientation Packet
Junior Orientation Packet
This is the third step in our four part program. Here our Juniors
will learn to use new books and the packet includes a scavenger
hunt of both print and electronic materials. The purpose of this
packet is to make it easier for the student to do research and finish
assignments faster and easier. It also enables them to find library
information and materials faster and with less help

Senior Orientation Packet
This is the fourth and final step in the orientation packet
In this packet we have included resources for use in Government
