A Tribute To Pain

A Tribute To Pain………

In the beginning you began in pain and in the end you will cause pain.

You came into creation causing pain to your mother and when you die you will cause your loved one’s pain. Yet why do we treat pain as an unnatural evil in those in between years? Pain is our basis, it is the life force in each of us. We deny it with our lovers we deny it with ourselves. Fear consumes the human body and mind and suddenly everything else stops. We cower in corners, under blankets. We run and we hide never knowing the full realization of truly being alive. The pain I speak of is not the pain induced by rapists and murderers. I speak of a different pain, one if fully experienced can bring the ultimate pleasure. So this is my tribute to pain and to her ruler, the Marquis De Sade…………

"The pleasure of the senses is always regulated in accordance with the imagination. Man can aspire to felicity only by serving all the whims of his imagination." Marquis De Sade

Thought of as a monster, a menace to society, again humanity gave into to their fears...

“I have supported my deviations with reasons; I did not stop at mere doubt; I have vanquished, I have uprooted, I have destroyed everything in my heart that might have interfered with my pleasure." De Sade

I look around at the sea of humanity and wonder what it is that we are all so afraid of?

Crude tools such as these?

No we only fear those when the authorities are wanting to use them on us. Then where is the fear coming from?
We did not live in the middle ages where torture was the form of questioning and punishment. We live in a time where mankind is said to be "Truly Civilized." Yet a tiny splinter can make a grown man cry.

"Has not Nature proved, in giving us the strength necessary to submit them to our desires, that we have the right to do so?" De Sade

“It is not the opinions or the vices of private individuals that are harmful to the State, but rather the behavior of public figures." De Sade

The above statement is true even today. Take a look at what Ralph Reed, George Bush Jrs, religious figure is planning on doing if Bush is elected. Making Witchcraft banned as a religion. Knowing that Pagan and Wiccan people will revolt against him. What then, another Inquisition perhaps?
Is this the "martyr" that we should all pray to? Where were his "children" when he was hanging, nailed to a cross? Telling themselves that this was his destiny, that he should be dying because we could not keep our own thoughts from straying to murder and rape? Or is this just another example of humanity being controlled by their fear?

“Now I beg of you to tell me whether I must love a human being simply because he exists or resembles me and whether for those reasons alone I must suddenly prefer him to myself?" De Sade

My manner of thinking, so you say, cannot be approved. Do you suppose I care? A poor fool indeed is he who adopts a manner of thinking for others! My manner of thinking stems straight from my considered reflections; it holds with my existence, with the way I am made. It is not in my power to alter it; and were it, I'd not do so. This manner of thinking you find fault with is my sole consolation in life; it alleviates all my sufferings in prison, it composes all my pleasures in the world outside, it is dearer to me than life itself. Not my manner of thinking but the manner of thinking of others has been the source of my unhappiness. The reasoning man who scorns the prejudices of simpletons necessarily becomes the enemy of simpletons; he must expect as much, and laugh at the inevitable. A traveler journeys along a fine road. It has been strewn with traps. He falls into one. Do you say it is the traveler's fault, or that of the scoundrel who lays the traps? If then, as you tell me, they are willing to restore my liberty if I am willing to pay for it by the sacrifice of my principles or my tastes, we may bid one another eternal adieu, for rather than part with those, I would sacrifice a thousand lives and a thousand liberties, if I had them. These principles and these tastes, I am their fanatic adherent; and fanaticism in me is the product of the persecutions I have endured from my tyrants. The longer they continue their vexations, the deeper they root my principles in my heart, and I openly declare that no one need ever talk to me of liberty if it is offered to me only in return for their destruction.
-The Marquis de Sade, in a letter to his wife

In edition to what I am writing and the displayed works of De Sade, I have also created a room to show everyone the early torture devices. To show you all what true pain is and was.

For those of you that have bothered to read this all the way through, you have formed one of two opinions of me. I am either holding your admiration for composing a page that would put me in the eyes of contempt, or thinking what you thought when you first came to my site; I am a devil worshipper and this is only further proof. In case the point of this page was missed, let me explain. My point was not to hurt your neighbors, friends or family. Not to revolt against mankind and create chaos. My point is simply for everyone to see how much we all give into our own fears. All of the amusement park rides you skipped because your stomach had too many "butterflies." How many dates you passed by, because you were afraid this person was out of your league. How many strangers you ignored because they looked too different from you. My point is that fear is not existence-you are existing in fear. Until that fear can be let go of, no one living is ever truly alive. It is that moment you experience when a needle pierces your skin for body art. It is that moment when your lover is found with another. It is that moment when every emotion becomes united. When you can no longer think only feel everything around you, in you all at once. That is the moment that many of you will never experience, because you are a slave to your fear and fear is all you will ever experience.
