Guns

I wouldn't mind conservatives if they didn't happen to have more shotgun barrels than pores. It makes me question just how much confidence they have in their facts and ideas. Here's some debunking of conservatives on issues of guns, war, and violence:

Didn't Rwanda prove that "where there's a will, there's a way"?

If the killing power of guns is made irrelevant by the slaughter in Rwanda (done mainly with knives) then the same would apply to crime prevention. Thus all police officers would need is knives!

So why doesn't the NRA look at the example of Rwanda and start doing their ever-so-selfless work of defending society with knives instead of guns? They are ever-so-selfless, right? Ditto with the military - I always figured it was a boondoggle, but more than $200,000,000,000 when all the military needs is some knives? Damn!

What do "libertarians" think of guns?

What causes militism and what are its effects?

What's with conservatives and guns?

What do conservatives think of law and order?

What do conservatives think of patriotism and militancy?

Kaboom!
