Christ's stumbling while carrying the cross reminds us how close the
Lord will push us to our absolute limits.

If you find it hard to sleep, stop counting sheep and talk to
the shepherd.

If we feel a distance between us and the Lord; remember, it's
not the Lord who has moved.

May the Lord be as welcome in your world, as you are in His.

The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is always
changing.....us.

We will not know him until we become like him.
Ezra Taft Benson
As an ordained Apostle and special witness of Christ, I give you
my solemn witness that Jesus Christ is in fact the Son of God. He is the
Messiah prophetically anticipated by Old Testament prophets. He is the
Hope of Israel, for whose coming the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
had prayed during the long centuries of prescribed worship.... It is by
the power of the Holy Ghost that I bear my witness. I know of Christ's
reality as if I had seen with my eyes and heard with my ears. I know also
that the Holy Spirit will confirm the truthfulness of my witness in the
hearts of all those who listen with an ear of faith.

I Heard.
"Someone special is coming here!"
Said a child lame and poor,
"I heard he's gentle, kind, and loving."
Said the dirty boy waiting at the door.
"Someone told me he's full of light,
The love that he gives you lasts.
His heart is so full of hope."
Said the little girl whose legs were in casts.
"I heard you can touch his gown,
No matter how unclean you are."
This statement came from a little boy
whose arms and legs were full of scars.
"I heard that too, and when you do,
All of your wounds and aches are healed."
Said an orphan girl who was all alone,
For both of her parents were killed.
"I have heard you can feel the warmth
Of his love when he wipes away your tears."
Said a young man, who all his life
Had ran awayand hid from all his fears.
From a corner came a soft voice
From a young girl beautiful, sweet, and kind.
"I heard you can see the love in his eyes."
As she fumbled around to find her stick, blind.
Then before another child could speak
The door opened and a light filled the room,
All at once all the darkness was gone,
There was no more sadness or gloom.
The children marveled at this man
Who stood before them now.
they weren't quite sure what to do,
Some of them smiled, and some of them bowed.
A whisper was heard among them
From someone who was still unsure.
"Does he really know who we are?
Does he really have the power to cure?"
At this the man bent down,
And with gentle arms hugged the child tight.
"Yes my child, I know who you are,
For I am your brother, Jesus Christ."
