This is the place to go when "Aunt Flo" comes calling; a place to be pampered, and reflective.
I hope you stopped at the Tea Room for a warm cup and at the Chocolatier for truffles on your way over here, and maybe even the Library for a good book while you prop your feet up.
Every woman should have a MoonLodge; to go and curl up with a novel, or some tea and soft music to meditate by, while you are made comfy in a roomful of soft, plump pillows. A place just for you.
In some cultures, a woman enduring her "bleeding time" was, and in some cases, still is, considered "unclean". Just the inability to fathom Feminine power in action. "If you can't "f*ck it, kill it.", went one saying. Well, as Pagans, womyn are beginning to understand and reclaim the power that once made a Temple prostitute as respected as a nun.
It's said that a Witch's cycles are most productive when they coincide with the cycles of the Moon, and that in our less natural society, we've lost our synchronization with Mother Luna.
I find my own cycle coincides with the Dark, or New Moon, and any magick worked during this time has extra "oomph" behind it.
