First thing's first. I
love off-roading, but I'm not a hick. No offense to others who love
this, but it is a hick thing to do. Sorry. I'm a total city
guy, but sometimes I like to get outdoors and have a little fun.
And believe me, it's a lot of fun mud slinging and winch saving.
For those of you who don't know
me I used to drive a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo LS. It was hooked up with everything,
but I don't drive it anymore thanks to some unfortunate events. Now
I drive a cool 1998 Toyota Corolla VE. It's not as slick as the Rodeo,
but it gets the job done. But oh, I
do miss the Rodeo............
After a couple of years, I want to purchase a hardcore off-roading vehicle such as a Land Rover Defender 90 or a Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I won't be like any loser who just drives the car on the streets. I plan to fully utilize the vehicle and trash it like there's no tomorrow. A Wrangler would do me just fine.............
Although the off-roading goodness
is all well and good, we have to think about nature and its beauty.
Heavy off-roading can damage nature and contribute to erosion of the land.
Therefore, we must encourage ourselves and others to Tread
Lightly!
It
is our responsibility to take care of the land. Please find out more
about the T.L! organization.
When you make sure you tread lightly, have fun off-roading
and go wild! Don't
forget to check out some cool sites on the web to find the best places
to go. Be sure to visit the Extreme
4x4 Site . One day, I hope to meet
some of you crazy CJ7 people on the trails of the Rubicon. Good luck
and be safe. Thanks for reading.
