So there's quite a story behind this page. It all started exactly a week before when Evan, Kristin and I were in one of the Sci Li rooms "studying" when Kristin says to Evan & me "I bet you 10 bucks each that you're gonna get married to each other." Evan and I thought this was pretty funny and started joking about what we were gonna name the kids (by the way, it's Maya and Aaron Michael). Then, like every other joke with the 5.5 crew, it got completely drawn out, and I kept asking Evan where my engagment ring was, and two days later, on Friday night, Evan "proposed" to me, which half the people missed, sadly. Then the next Wednesday, the day after classes ended, we had an engagement party. Kristin & Rachel decided to go all out, decorating their room with white balloons and streamers and convinced me to dress nicely, as did they. All this freaked out most of the guys and they refused to enter the room. So here are the pictures from that night, but sadly, I only took three, and unfortunately I don't have one with me and my fiance, so I guess this turned out to be more of a bridal shower or whatever....
Oh, the best part was the giant Tony the Tiger outside Kristin and Rachel's room,announcing the party (Evan won that thing earlier at dinner during a cereal-eating contest in Mocon. I should add that this was the same day as Spring Fling, so there were lots of drunk people in Mocon that night)) |
