KOKOPELLI'S FLUTE
About Me

So you want to know a bit about me, do you?

I was born in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada in 1973.  My father's favourite story about this event is that there was a power outage that night and I was born sometime around midnight but we're really not sure whether it was August 17th or 18th.  (Just for the record, my birth certificate says the 18th.)  In my opinion, I think that this means that I should get to celebrate twice.

Now we skip the next 19 uneventful years, filled with moves through an untraceable number of cities in 4 provinces (Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario) and all the usual teen angst, and jump to my entrance in the Humber College Music Program.  Yes folks, we have an educated musician on our hands.  (What that really means is that now that I've graduated, I'm an executive assistant by day and I teach on the side.)

I spent a few good years at Humber, studying with some of the best musicians in Canada.  I was a woodwind (sax, flute and clarinet) and arranging major and I took a minor in vocal music.

For fun, I practice, teach woodwinds, read, skate (well, I'm learning anyway), listen to music, and hang out with the rest of the Z Continuum. (View my photo album)  I'm addicted to The X-Files and I enjoy the Simpsons, South Park, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Xena.
