Grace Thompson Roberts,84,of 103 Creamer St. widow of Jack Roberts,
Died May 5, 1996,at Laurens County Hospital. Born in McCormick, She was the daughter of the late John and Georgie Thompson. She retired from Laurens Mill and was a homemaker and a member of Laurens Church of god. Surviving are a son.Jack Ricky Roberts of Laurens; two daughters,Mrs.Adrian (Polly) Hance of Laurens,and Shirley Pettyjohn of Macon,Ga. A brother,Grady Thompson of Laurens; A sister,Gladys Cogsdill of Laurens. Three grandsons raised in the home,David Pearson,Kenneth Pearson and Mike pearson. Eight additional grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. Services: 2 pm. Wednesday at Kennedy Mortuary Chapel,Laurens whit the Rev. Alton L. Stone Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery.
