Will of William Hutcheson

 

 

In the name of God, Amen. I William Hutcheson Sent. of the State of South Carolina, Laurens District, being very weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God. Calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all we once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say in manner and form following. First, I give and bequeath to James Hutcheson my son all and singular my real and personal estate, except my wearing apparel and to each of my other children, I give the sum of one dollar. And I constitute my son James Hutcheson and ordain him the sole Executor of this my last will and testament. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have here-unto set my hand and seal this the Twenty Eighth day of May, in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Four.
