but I closed my eyes in fright...
She came to me and said, "it's me!..
Everything will be alright"
I felt her hand touch mine
it was to let me know
That everything would be fine
I felt the chill of snow
I gazed deeply in the face
the face, was it a dream?
A face my mind won't erase..
Peaceful, beautiful and serene.
Sleep swept over my soul that night
and morning came to be
I awoke at peace, with not a fright
I know she is with me.
