Loved One

I looked up at the heavens to ask "why"?
then noticed that the aura of your spirit passed by,
Perhaps it was just wishing that it wasn't so...
that maybe you didn't really go..

I looked up again and you were there!!
only to let me know that you'll always care,
I wanted to join you and be at peace, as you..
but your spirit let me know I had much to do.
Not knowing what, I questioned why?
and still at times  wish that I might also die..

I love your forever, my love, my best friend
and I'll wait until it's right to be with you again
until then help guide me to do what is right...
my love, my delight, my one guiding light...
