Follow I-81 North past exits for Nuangola and Nanticoke to Exit 164 (Wilkes- Barre/Route 309 Business North). It's the only left-hand exit you'll encounter in the vicinity on I-81.

Proceed on Business Route 309 about 1/2 mile to the first traffic light. Turn left onto Blackman Street.

Take Blackman Street to first light (nearly a mile) at Hazle Avenue (With luck, there should be overhead street signs from this point on!) Turn right onto Hazle Avenue.

Pass traffic light at Parrish Street and continue on Hazle to 5-way intersection at Stanton Street and Park Avenue. Bear left downhill along the left side of Lahr's Printery. (You're still on Hazle Avenue.)

Proceed downhill on Hazle. You'll pass the Salvation Army store on your left, and then the street will curve to the left and the grade will flatten out. You'll cross Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, a railroad track and Pennsylvania Boulevard. Cross Main Street (at pharmacy-- the street now becomes Academy Street -- the next street is Franklin Street. Turn right onto Franklin Street.

Proceed on Franklin Street across Ross, South and Northampton Streets. After passing Northampton Street, watch for St. Stephen's Episcopal Church about 3/4 of the way down the block on the left (It has a bell tower). The church is across the street from Boscov's department store and Mellon Bank parkade. There is a parking lot next door to the church.
