One of my favorite pastimes now, and ever since I was a kid, is fishing. Pond, river, lake, stream, or even a muddy puddle -- it doesn't matter. Just let me flip the bait and throw out some line. My favorite place to spend some of this God-given time is in Wisconsin.
Townsend, Wisconsin to be exact.
I have been going up there since I was 9, now I'm... well a few years older... with my father, my best friend Bob, my daughter Stacy, or my love Lisa. Every time has its special moments. Sometimes the fishing is tremendous. A huge Northern every other cast. Sometimes not.....
The cabin has an incredible view of the lake and beyond.
But no matter how good the fishing, how spicy the ribs, or how cold the beer, the nights are always spectacular.
Especially with the right company.

And now, we have a boat. I've always wanted one, and the situation allows for it. Brought it home, and aside from a couple of minor modifications to the trailer, so I can keep it in the garage, we should be out on it in a matter of a week or so. There will be more pictures of it -- and us -- in action, but until then.....
