My dad had a sister, Nora Lorraine, who married Skeet...they lived in Ipswich, suffoll, until theie deaths. My dad was born in Cardiff, in Wales in 1912. Linked into this site from cyndislist.com and found the Barton's - my husband's family name. They imigrated from Great Britain and landed in what is now upstate New York. Being United Empire Loyalists they were evicted from the country and moved into "up er Canada" - northern Ontario, then imigrating to Alberta and finally BC. His Parents were Wm.Floyd Barton & Francis Crieger. My grandfather had 4 brothers(Floyd,Quincy,Louie,?) and 5 sisters(Tiny,Julie,Bessie,Ethel, )All living in and around Springfield Mo. He died 5/21/69. Our Family owned "Barton's Gas Station" in Macomb(might be named different County now). Just starting on the Barton Genealogy, any information would be appreciated....

Just browsing your site, My Grandmother Marcella Barton was born in Poland, Her huband English born (first name not known) she moved to Mass. until her death Jan. 1967.
