I won't ask what step number out of 20, but you should know what happens before and after any of the steps. What is important is the cause and effect relationships. eescilsm: the igneous rocks don't change minerals much, one type of rock forms, then a
different kind will form after it

eescilsm: are you talking about igneous or metamorphic rocks?

eescilsm: igneous forms from molten rock, metamorphic rocks start as any kind, then change
because of heat and pressure without melting

Ghjklasdf: but igneous wouldn't be able to change would they??? or does it depend on how
fast they cool
eescilsm: one kind of rock, like gabbro solidifies on the bottom of the magma, then after
that the magma that is left over will form the next kind of rock in the sequence, either
diorite or andesite
