THE F-117 NIGHT HAWK
The F-117 features stealth technology and usually operates at night and it has low IR immition ,the plane can carry two JDAM laser guided bombs

How the stealth technology works---
      The frame is designed to reflect radar energy away from      
      the originating transmitter ,the jet air intake is also covered with
      a special net which deflects the radar beams from the air intake
      noiseless.
Engines---
      two 48.0 kN GENERAL ELECTRIC F404-GE-F1D2

Weapons---
      two BLU-109B low-level laser-guided OR GBU-10/GBU-27
    OR AGM-65 Maverick OR AGM-88 HARM ASMs also can carry
      AIM-9 Sidewinder ,only missiles with seeker heads extended below
      the aircraft prior to launch, bombs realized from within weapons
      bay.
History---
      the idea of building a plane that will be invisible to radar first
      came up few years before the idea was accepted but the number
      of the calculations spooked the designers because every edge of
      the aircraft must be calculated and because at that time computers
      weren't so common and coasted a lot of money they gave up on the
      project , a few years later after the computer was improdused to
      the whole field of aviation and the the engineers were able to start
      calculating the form of the aircraft.
      in 1974 us requested a stealthy fighter ,in 1975 two companies
      submited their desighns ,the Lockheed Martin and Northrop
    Lockheed Martin was selected against the competition in 1976
      two of the prototipes crashed and many other F-117 early moddels
      crashed ,in 1991 the cockpit instrumintation was upgraded to four
      dimentional navigation and new color displays .
