FALSE TV REPORTS ABOUT LIEBERMAN
The chances that Avigdor Lieberman, who resigned on Sunday [ November 23, 1997] as Director-General of the Prime Minister's Office, will be indicted in what is known as the Gesher-Aliyah affair are diminishing.
Last night, [November 24, 1997] both television news stations reported that the police had made a definite decision to recommend Lieberman's indictment on charges of financial irregularities relating to the Gesher-Aliyah association.
This morning [November 25, 1997], however, Public Security Minister Kahalani said that no such decision had been reached.
