IBA TV journalist Eitan Oren
may be indicted for staging a fake swearing-in ceremony of "Eyal" group.

Israeli police have recommended that Israel Television journalist Eitan Oren be indicted for his role in staging a fake swearing-in ceremony three years ago. According to a memorandum prepared this week by Deputy Minister Michael Eitan for Prime Minister Netanyahu on the Avishai Raviv case, GSS head Ami Ayalon told then-Prime Minister Rabin's office that the entire film clip was a "double fake, including by the television." The televising of what was made to look like a military initiation ceremony by a right-wing extremist organization supposedly known as Eyal was organized by Oren and Avishai Raviv.
