Birthfathers are often the most overlooked member of the triad, often because
they are portrayed as the "bad guys" in adoption. However, more and more
birthfathers are becoming involved in adoption decisions and search. Very little
exists today in form of support for birthfathers. For that reason, a birthfather
only mailing list has been established in order to provide these men a place to
find support and resources. Run by Don Taylor, a birthfather himself, through
Adoptee Search Center, anyone interested in joining the mailing list can go to:
