Do you believe there's justice
In this old girl's heart?

Wait'll the trials start, and it's my justice
When the jeopardy's double.

I'll start with a lie

How we lawyers twist the law of the land.

Well the media says so,
They say it's just fine, to bring charges
Against someone twice
My "jurisdiction" they say makes it nice.
You read the Fifth Amendment, no matter how hard you try,
You can't figure how we fit those words to our lie.
