RIGHTS, HOW MANY ARE STILL LEFT?

How many laws are being written to infringe or strip you of your Constitutional rights?  LOTS!!  But the new crime bill can really do you in BIG time!!!!


It took me about an hour to find a complete text of the Crime Bill but I finally found it.
Spent over an hour and a half downloading it onto my hard drive.  It is HUGE!!!
And just having skimmed it as I was getting it I have to say it didn't look too good to me folks.
I'm putting it up here for  you to have access to it so you may read or download it for yourself and
check things out.  If someone or something refers to xx section you can
find it and read it for yourself to see if it says what they tell you it says.

First Amendment---freedom of religion, speech, press, peaceable assembly and redress of grievances.

 Second Amendment---a well regulated Militia and the right of the people to keep and bear arms
          of course we have to get into the subjects of gun control and the militia for this one.

Third Amendment---quartering of military in private homes without consent of owner

Fourth Amendment---to be secure in your person, house, papers and effects against unreasonable search and seizure without probable cause supported by oath or affirmation AND "particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized

Fifth  Amendment--not to be tried for the same crime twice, not be be a witness against yourself, nor be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law, or private property taken for public use without just compensation.

Sixth  Amendment---a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where the crime was committed and to be confronted with the witnesses against you and assistance of Counsel

Seventh  Amendment---right to trial by jury where value exceeds twenty dollars and once examined by jury shall not be re-examined in any court --  so far I don't think this one has been abused (if you know of  any incidences please let me know)

Eighth  Amendment---excessive bail shall not be required, or excessive fines, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted

Ninth  Amendment---enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people

Tenth Amendment---powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States   are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people


Read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States of America in their entirety.
Far too many people in America don't know the National Anthem, or know only the first verse,
to read the entire piece and hear the music I have included it here.
