THE AMERICANIZATION OF ALBERTA HEALTH CARE

What are you, as a Member of Parliament doing to ensure that Health Care is kept under federal control and not handed over to the provinces and territories?

Canadians value and do not want health care turned over to the provinces despite what the premiers say.

The federal government has been cutting health care transfer payments to the provinces systematically on the premise that the federal government lacks the money to support a UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. We lend China $1.3 Billion to purchase a Candu reactor, $30 Million to an African country to assist with the prostitution\AID's, which is cultural, millions of dollars to pay for expansion of embassies in India and the U.S., $14.5 Million to send soldiers to Zaire, etc, etc. etc. How can there possibly not be enough money to support a Federal Universal Health Care System?
