The anarchy westoz guide to some of the best collections of anarchist material on the web.

as used and recommended by....

There's no way anyone can keep track of the variety of anarchist sites available on the web. Bearing this in mind we present the links that we use and have found to be of some value.

We want this list to continue growing and will post regular updates as new sites come on line and others move to new locations. If you have a site that you think should be on this list mail us at the address below.

General Anarchist resources: the big stuff.

Spunk Press: stacks of texts, links and contact details for anarchist groups worldwide. For anarchists in Australasia you can also try the Australian Mirror site.

Dana Wards' Anarchy Archives: lots of excellent primary texts from people like Bakunin and Kropotkin.

Burn: This site in addition to texts has an archive of anarchist art (lots of brilliant posters from the Spanish Civil War) and an anarchist search engine!

Situationist International: Still in there kicking the Situationist movement has provided some of anarchism's more 'interesting' theorists. This site includes 'Social Anarchism' archives and much more besides.

First Church of Chumbawamba: Great songs, great links, proof positive that you can have a sense of humour and still be an anarchist!

Australian Anarchist resources

I'm not trying to provide a comprehensive selection of links here, however these should get you started. So if you're looking for information on what's going on in your area, these sites are likely to be able to help you.

Anarres Books: This collectively run mail order service is based in Melbourne. Anyone in the Australasia region interested in anarchism should visit this site. Highy recommended.

Jura Books: Syndey based book co-operative, unlike Anarres they have a shop although you can also get stuff by mail order.

Thanks to Ben from the Anarcho-syndicalist group of Melbourne for the following

Anarchism in Australia

Also well worth a visit is the Anarchist Web Directory...this site is being updated all the time and is vast! Thanks Rebecca!

More Anarchy resources: the smaller and more personal sites.

Jesse Cohn's homepage: Well worth a visit, heaps of great links plus some excellent writing covering issues such as education, anarchist literary theory and more.

Anarchy for anybody: Great selection of essays on a range of practical concerns and heaps of other stuff.

Anarcha-feminist resources: Stop anarchism becoming just another 'boys club' - check out some of the girrrll sites here. This site also has an excellent selection of essays by anarchist women, past and present. Highly recommended.

The nug jar: Well I don't know what the title's all about, but there is a brilliant set of links to post-modern resources here, as well as some good anarchy information. This site proves that anarchy-westoz isn't entirely alone.
